March 21st is recognized as World Down Syndrome Awareness Day (3.21), a day we celebrate everyone with a third copy of the 21st chromosome, or as we like to say, that "something extra.". 3.21 is celebrated across the world in many different ways. DSAMT will celebrate all of those with something extra at our annual World Down Syndrome Awareness Day Celebration on March 21, 2026 at Donelson First Baptist Church (2526 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37214).
Volunteers needed to assist from 10:00am - 3:00pm.
10a - 12p we will be setting up, moving tables, and decorating.
12p - 2p Families will be present at which time we will need assistance with different activity tables to include a photo booth, games, merchandise sales, and picking up and cleaning up after participants.
2p to 3p we will be cleaning up and ensuring everything is back in its place.
