We’re gearing up for a truly special milestone at Nashville Public Library—the Main Library’s 25th Anniversary Celebration—and we would love for you to be part of the excitement!
Saturday, June 13 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
This celebration will bring together families, longtime patrons, new visitors, and community partners for a joyful day in the heart of our library. To make the event shine, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for all.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
• Greeting and welcoming guests
• Directing visitors to activities across all floors
• Serving light refreshments
• Assisting guests at the photobooth station
• Helping with event flow and small tasks throughout the day
Your kindness, energy, and presence will help make this anniversary one to remember!
Shift Options
We ask that volunteers arrive 10–15 minutes early for orientation and stay a few minutes after for wrap‑up.
We are hoping to have 6–10 volunteers for each shift, if possible.
• Full Event Shift: 9:30 AM – 2:15 PM
• Morning Shift: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM
Parking Information
Parking will be fully covered for all volunteers at the 4th and Commerce Garage, located at 147 4th Ave North. It’s just a short 5–7 minute walk to the Main Library via Commerce St or Church St.
