Metro Archives is looking for a motivated and curious Research Intern to dive into Nashville’s rich historical collections. Interns will conduct in‑depth research using archival materials and help transform discoveries into public‑facing content. Projects include assisting with exhibit curation and contributing to blog posts and social media features. Additional project tasks may be assigned as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
• College or graduate students interested in history, political science, museum studies, archival studies, or related fields
• Enthusiastic about archival research and creating educational content
• Strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Knowledge of U.S. history
• Ability to read cursive handwriting (preferred but not required)
