Cane Ridge High School is hosting the first Law, Criminal Justice and Public Safety Career Summit on September 18, 2026 from 9am - 12:30pm at Deloitte. You are invited to join as described below.
The mission of the Law, Criminal Justice, and Public Safety Career Summit is to prepare and inspire the next generation of justice and public safety professionals by providing students with direct access to industry experts, real-world insights, and meaningful career pathways.
We are looking for volunteers and organizations to present on the following topics!
Session Topics:
Law Enforcement, Corrections & Investigations
Share your experience and expertise related to law enforcement, corrections, investigations, public safety, or related careers.
Courts & Legal Careers
Share information about careers in the legal profession, courts, prosecution, defense, legal support, or related fields.
Public Safety & Mental Health
Discuss careers and the intersection of public safety, mental health, crisis response, community support, and related services.
Share your perspective on public service, government, civic leadership, policymaking, and careers in public administration.
Additional Ways to Participate
Student Networking
Interact with students during lunch and networking. Guests will sit at student tables and answer questions about their careers, experiences, and professional pathways.

Event Goals
- Increase Career Awareness
Provide students with exposure to a wide range of careers within law, criminal justice, and public safety, including law enforcement, legal professions, corrections, emergency services, and related fields.
- Connect Students with Industry Professionals
Create opportunities for students to interact with professionals through panels, hands-on activities, and networking sessions.
- Promote Career Pathways and Postsecondary Options
Help students understand the educational requirements, certifications, and training pathways needed to pursue careers in justice and public safety.
