Commitment
This is a weekly volunteer commitment. We are looking for volunteers who can consistently serve on their selected evening and build relationships with our students and classroom team.
What You'll Do
Classroom Assistants will work alongside our instructors to:
* Provide individual or small-group support to students
* Assist students with classroom activities and assignments
* Help instructors prepare or organize classroom materials as needed
* Encourage students and help create a positive learning environment
* Provide additional support to students who may need extra assistance during class
Who We're Looking For
Education students are preferred, making this a great opportunity for college students studying education, teaching, English, ESL/TESOL, or a related field to gain meaningful experience working directly with adult learners.
Volunteers should be patient, dependable, encouraging, and comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
