Interested in learning more about Medicare and counseling beneficiaries on their Medicare options?
This training is designed to give you all the information you will need as a Volunteer Medicare counselor so you can provide correct and unbiased information to beneficiaries and help them make the best healthcare decisions for them.
You will also be trained on Plan Comparisons and extra help and lower income programs as well as the Senior Medicare Patrol program to prevent, detect and report Medicare fraud and abuse.
This training is a TWO DAY TRAINING and takes place on September 6th and 7th from 9:00am to 4:30pm each day - attendance of both days is required for full certification with the program. The first day of the training will be conducted as a virtual training through Microsoft Teams - so you can attend from your home. The second day of the training will be in person at our Metro Center Office location in Nashville, TN.
Completion of a Volunteer Application, Background Screening are required prior to attending this training.
