The Metro Parks disABILITIES Swim Team serves adults with Intellectual & Developmental disABILITIES. This Program will meet most Fridays from January-May from 2:00-4:00pm at the Centennial Sportsplex.
What to expect: Volunteers will be in the water with class participants, assisting with swimming skills and giving instruction. The lead coach will guide all volunteers on how to assist with class.
What is required: Volunteers should be comfortable in the water, willing to work with individuals with disabilities, and bring a positive attitude.
