Come Volunteer at one of Nashville’s favorite and most vibrant festivals!
Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival, in its 28th year with over 40,000 attendees, is a reminder of what makes Nashville such a great place to live! This FREE Festival provides an opportunity for intercultural dialogue through dance, music, food from around the world, creative activities for children and teens, a Global Marketplace and so much more!
The Festival encompasses ALL of Centennial Park and Volunteers are urgently needed to:
- Setup the day before: Friday, October 6th: 8am till complete (by early afternoon)
- Assist with Vendor Load-the morning of the Festival: Saturday, October 7th from 4:30am to 10am.
- Serve as Ambassadors Translators: Multilingual volunteers (any and all languages welcome) are needed to encourage cross-cultural communication throughout the Festival from 10am to 6:30pm
- lift up to 50lbs with assistance
- move tables, chairs and tents
- climb a ladder up to 10 feet to hang banners/decorations
- move and set up equipment
- walk on pavement and grass
Ambassador Translators should be able to:
- converse in more than one language
- feel comfortable approaching and talking with strangers
- be patient and empathetic
