Community Night 2024 will be Wednesday, January 31st, 2024!
Hosted by Belmont’s Office of Community Relations, Community Night provides an opportunity for members of the Nashville community to attend a night of Bruin basketball and family festivities
Each year, the Curb Event Center comes to life as more than two thousand members of the Nashville community find their way into its seats to cheer for the Belmont Bruins. The tradition, known as Community Night, provides an opportunity for neighbors and friends to attend a basketball game, eat dinner and participate in a variety of family-friendly events for free.
We need students to help provide hospitality for our community guests for the evening!
Shifts are in 2 hour blocks, generally available from 5-7pm and 7-9pm (with the exception of Volunteer Support, which first shift begins at 4pm). See the specific needs below for more information.

Here is the link to the required training video, which has important information about your shifts, meeting places, and communication. After you have watched the video, please go to HERE to complete the short quiz. That way, we have a record that you participated in training and can receive one extra hour of WELL Core Community Service credit (if you are on the old WELL Core Path).
Students on the New WELL Core Pathway: you may receive up to 2 credits total for volunteering: 1) Workshop/Training and 2) Serve Together, Different Population, or Asset-Based Learning. **Remember that you can only receive one credit for each service wellness behavior, so if you already have already earned any of the above credit behaviors, you cannot earn that credit for this volunteer engagement.**
If you have further questions, please reach out to Canesha Conger (canesha.conger@belmont.edu). We hope you have a great volunteer experience! Go Bruins!
