We invite you to join TEC as we create a new 1,000 square foot pollinator garden in Franklin at the Williamson County Public Library. We are devoted to increase the native wildflower habitat for pollinator species and create education opportunities for students and the community while beautifying the library garden area.
You will be involved in the following activities:
- remove sod/grasses from the garden area
- spread soil into the garden
- spread native wildflower seed
TEC provides water (please bring your own water bottles) and snacks, and if you forget your gardening gloves we've got you covered. TEC will provide all the necessary tools but feel free to bring your own gardening tools (gloves, rake, shovel, spade, wheelbarrow) and be sure to dress for the garden (closed toed shoe, long sleeve shirt and long pants)
Parking is available at the library's parking lot.
