The event will be facilitated by health professionals with expertise in the area of Infant Mortality, with a focus on Safe Sleep. Throughout this program, data will be presented that shows that African Americans are disproportionately affected by this disparity. Even more, a pre and post instrument will be administered to gauge an increase in knowledge. In addition, information will be provided to attendees to assist with having better health outcomes.
