It's Waterfest time! This free family festival is all about celebrating our rivers and connecting children to our local waters. Hosted by the Cumberland River Compact with support from the City of Gallatin, the City of Goodlettsville, and the City of Hendersonville, this event combines education and fun! Attendees of Waterfest will learn about the importance of water quality in our watershed by engaging in environmental activities suitable for the entire family. Plus, there will be splashes of summer fun including two waterslides, prizes, music, and a family-favorite dance party!
Volunteers will assist staff with setup, logistics, snow-cone ticketing, dance-partying, and other tasks as available - all focused on ensuring the event flows smoothly. This volunteer opportunity is open to volunteers of all experience levels and is a great opportunity to get your feet wet (pun intended) in the world of event operations! Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age. Registration on VolunteerHub is required and all participants must create their own accounts to sign up.
In addition to responding on Get Connected, please secure your volunteer spot by completing your registration for the event at this link: https://cumberlandrivercompact.volunteerhub.com/vv2/event/240bc502-4ed9-4cab-ad49-2b503f8b88a5
