Description

The Service of Hope is an annual event facilitated by Healing Arts Project Inc. (HAPI) to celebrate faith, hope, and recovery. This ecumenical service supports individuals recovering from mental health and substance use disorders. The event typically includes a worship service with musical selections, readings, a call to worship, and a collection of donations. After the service, there is a reception where food is served, and speakers and performers share their talents, including spoken word presentations. The event aims to promote healing, community awareness, and inclusion through artistic expression. Additionally, donations collected during the event are often used to support other organizations or individual artists in need, furthering their ongoing work. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, support one another, and celebrate the power of art and recovery.
