Join Nashville college students, faculty, and staff from nine area colleges & universities in honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. King in a day of learning, action, and reflection. This year's program will feature a student panel in the morning, and then participants will head out into the community to serve at over 20 service sites around the city!
Pizza and t-shirts provided (while supplies last). Come prepared to work outdoors! We cannot guarantee indoor service projects for all participants.
**Bus transportation from Belmont is available to event and back. Signups will begin in March!
Students are eligible to earn Service WELL Core for this event. See below for details:
- New WELL Core: Students can earn up to 30 points for Service Wellness for participation at this event! Students can submit for the following (given they haven't already earned credit for these Service Wellness behaviors):
- Training/Workshop
- Serve Together, Asset-Based Learning, or Different Population (only one - not all three!)
- Reflection Session
- Old WELL Core: Students can earn 5 hours (50 points) for Service WELL Core (5 hours of service = 50 points on Suitable)
- After logging your hours here on Get Connected, students must submit five separate Community Wellness activity tasks (one per hour served) to earn their 50 points on Suitable.
